PARADYME has a comprehensive security system built into it. For instance, it provides a standard logon screen which controls user access to specified accounts.

One of the key areas of the security checking is built into PARADYME menus. It allows the system administrator to set up access protection to each and every menu option. How this is done will be explained later. However, this security feature is not always required and in some cases, this may lead to restricted access where no restriction is required.

To disable the automatic security feature for a given menu, the user enters 'N' for this field. NOTE that the default is 'Y', i.e. that the security feature is enabled.
