It is possible to call a PARADYME subroutine from another routine to update a different file. In many cases, the subsequent routine will take up the whole screen. However, in other cases it may only take up a part of the screen. In such instances, it may be possible to 'overlay' the first screen with the second. This also leads to the feel that the user is only using one screen.

The only problem with this is that PARADYME automatically clears down the screen before it displays the new one, UNLESS the 'Clear screen on entry' is set to Y. If this flag is set to N, PARADYME will simply over type the existing screen leaving behind the text in the areas not referenced by the new screen.

If they do not wish to select this options simply leave the field blank by pressing [RETURN] or by entering N.
